Henry Lorenson started a Esso service in the 1950s. As the only commercial business near the Canadian Salt Company's plant it supplied not only gas and oil but farm supplies and confections of many types. In 1969 Henry and Florence, always active community members, sold the garage and retired to the Okanogan. We have the 1969 sale flyer here thanks to John Lorenson.
